Master of Wine Bob Campbell calls the Ata Rangi Martinborough Pinot Noir a "Kiwi classic." Falstaff's Top 100 Red Wine Icon of the World. Only grapes from the oldest vines are used in this premium Pinot Noir. It comes from various vineyards in the small wine village of Martinborough. The legendary Abel clone, allegedly smuggled from Burgundy in the mid-70s, makes up 40% of the wine. The result is a wine in the classic Ata Rangi style - complex, structured, and intensely fragrant.
